CONNECT 22: Frequently Asked Questions
What is the date and time of the CONNECT22 Experience?
In-person and online Tuesday 13th September – Thursday 15th September 2022.
CONNECT22 commences at 4:30pm on Tuesday 13th September, at Mantra on View Gold Coast, with the 2022 Excellence in Media and Arts Awards. Wednesday 14th September sessions begin at 9am and run through to 5pm. Thursday 15th September sessions begin at 9:30am and run through until 12:30pm when we will enjoy lunch together before saying farewell.
How do I book accommodation?
Rooms are available at the CONNECT22 Venue - Mantra on View for guests attending the conference.
The Event begins at 4:30pm on Tuesday September 13, and wraps up after lunch on Thursday September 15 - meaning only two nights of accommodation are essential. However you may wish to book an extra night to continue catching up, or to take a moment to process all you've experienced before heading home.
Rooms are $155 per night including 1 x Full Buffet Breakfast (incl GST).

What can I expect from the CONNECT22 Experience?
We will explore the substance of truth as it relates to producing Christian content; we will try and determine what makes something 'good' or virtuous in light of the Christian story; and we will interrogate the various expressions of this through the lens of beauty and hope.
CMAA has engaged AVENIR Leadership Institute to develop a theology of media and art, and with your participation at CONNECT22, together we will discuss, process and return to our organisations better equipped to serve the audiences we engage.
