Australian poet David Tensen brings form and beauty to our deep spiritual yearnings. Drawing from decades of experience in pastoral care and spiritual development, his poems have found their way into hearts of every age across the globe. Raw, honest, accessible and prophetic, David's writings both uncover pain and bring healing to it. He has published two poetry collections: The Wrestle (2020) and So I Wrote You a Poem (2021) and actively releases his work on social media.

As a speaker, author, consultant and trainer, David brings together a unique fusion of experience ranging from business to leadership, emotional health to spiritual development. David and wife Natalie have three children and live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
He holds an honours degree in organisational leadership and holds over 25 years experience in the workplace, specialising in non-for-profit.
From 2016 – 2020 David and his wife Natalie created and ran LeaderHeart, a not-for-profit organisation positioned to help Christian leaders and others become more emotionally and spiritually healthy. They created media resources to assist parents and children with relational, emotional and spiritual challenges. They also ran online training courses which reached across the globe. Some of these schools are still available to Patreon subscribers.
Today, David spends his time studying, writing poetry , collecting typewriters and consulting to organisations across Asia Pacific
