What to Expect During Your Day
8.30am: Begin by joining the first CONNECT25 Conference Session
Join all of the Media Arts community as together we help shape where we’re headed (and why It matters). Before morning tea and breakouts, the shared vision for Christian screen media will be shared. This is a chance to start thinking bigger together.
MORNING TEA: Grab a coffee and get ready for your dedicated breakout
From mid-morning you will breakout into your dedicated gathering, facilitated by Nick Ingram from Clearthinking.co, to build on foundational strategic work from the past 12 months.
Where We Are Now + What We’re Learning
Coming up to speed: Taking stock of our shared ecosystem, and dreaming forward. We’ll roll up our sleeves and work through the work and strategy to date.
Together, we’ll explore:
- A brief review of the current landscape: Who’s doing what, and where the energy is
- Where screen and audio are converging, and what that means for us
- Challenges we face, and the opportunities ahead
- A shared vision for cultural influence: how our content can shift narratives
- Workshop-style small groups to reflect on and refine the goals already set
- We’ll also introduce the idea of the “C-Space” - a framework to help us grow as creatives, businesses, and as a movement.
LUNCH: Take a breather, catch up with old friends, meet new ones
Afternoon: From Ideas to Action - What We Can Build Together
This session is about turning the vision into something practical. We’ll focus on action and activities (the “D-Space”) on the next stage on the path.
Together, we’ll begin to shape:
- A community of practice. What it could be, and how to start it?
- Shared commitments. How we want to work together
- Ideas for resourcing the sector (tools, training, pathways)
- Potential activities like local gatherings, screen festivals, and training for funders
- A first-year roadmap. What could realistically happen in the next 12 months

From 5:30pm to 7:30pm, enjoy live music with Tarryn Stokes and Ethan Beer, plus Pizza and Drinks in a relaxed, informal evening to celebrate the day. Connect with fellow creatives, and deepen relationships across the screen media community.
