People tune in, turn on and follow Vision for encouragement, uplifting music, and compelling messages through broadcast radio, printed and digital publications, and streamed podcasts and videos through our apps, websites and social media. We also operate a syndicated national news service, prayer helpline, and online store. All to help people look to God daily.
About the Position
This is a full-time role working within Australia’s largest national Christian media ministry. The successful candidate will need strong organisational alignment and a creative digital flair. Over 30 years ago, Vision began in radio broadcasting and printed publications. However, in recent times, digital platforms have made an increasing contribution to fulfilling our mission. This exciting position is strategically important and will allow Vision to fully embrace the opportunities digital platforms provide now and into the future.
This role is responsible for assisting in the multi-platform digital strategy across all audiences, customer and supporter touchpoints, with a strong focus on concept development and execution, mission alignment, and orchestrating a high-impact, first-class user experience.

Our Social Media Officer will bring light, encouragement, and support to our existing social media platforms while collaborating with our marketing team to expand our audience and increase awareness of the Vision brand and the timeless messages of God’s Word through engaging social media content.
This position involves conceiving, designing, editing, and writing diverse content tailored to various target audiences across multiple platforms. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and engaging with followers online, ensuring that interactions reflect and communicate our Mission and Values.
Given the dynamic and evolving nature of the digital world, a willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to ever-changing methods for producing relevant and compelling content is highly valued.
About Your Talents and Skills
To be a successful candidate, you should possess the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills and meticulous attention to detail
- A track record of efficiency, productivity, and consistently meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Basic understanding of video editing software and tools
- Up-to-date knowledge and experience across multi-channel digital platforms
- Proven ability to produce digital content that aligns with organisational mission and cause-related marketing
- Implement online community strategies that foster a strong community spirit
- Able and willing to conceive, investigate and recommend fresh ideas and plans
- Proven ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Ensure that reporting requirements are completed in a timely manner.
