Business owners, creators and authors in the Newcastle region can now make use of Rhema's podcast studio services.
Rhema Newcastle is the latest station to offer up its recording facilities to the public, with the launch of its podcast studio for hire.
The professional podcast studio space, based at the station’s Warabrook premises, is available for DIY podcasters, community groups, registered training organisations, churches, business owners and not-for-profit groups.
This follows in the footsteps of 4B Media on the Central Coast who have opened up their filming studio for hire, as well as Rhema Central Coast which is making its spaces and technology available to the local community.
CEO of Rhema 99.7FM Newcastle, Ben Kiujian said:
“This new podcast studio is an opportunity to collaborate with the Newcastle community and offer a new way to showcase local expertise to new audiences. We have so much creativity and expertise locally, we wanted to create a professional and energising space for people who are ready to share their message with new audiences.
“Radio will always remain our core offering but we are exploring innovative ways of serving the local Newcastle community and expanding our impact beyond the air waves”.
The station has been building its own stable of podcasts in recent times, too, with their offerings now including:
- Life on God’s Terms
- Life with Rough Edges
- How to: Market Your Church
Rhema Newcastle’s studio hire rates start at $88 an hour for dry hire, and they offer flexible options from DIY, to professional production support by experienced engineers.
Not-for-profit discount rates are available for churches and charities.
