A fantastic career opportunity has arisen within a leading Christian media organisation to plan, organise and oversee partnerships and events.

The Opportunity:

The Partnerships and Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, organising and implementing campaigns, events, tactics, and promotions for Hope Media, and in partnership with other ministries and sponsors, consistent with Hope Media’s Purpose and Content Strategy in order to build an engaged listener base. You will be a compassionate, proactive and outgoing person, who has strong communication skills, events and partnership experience. You will also display a strong alignment with Hope’s Christian mission – and be able to translate that hope through your interactions, event execution and communication.

The role involves:

  • Planning, organising and implementing events, campaigns and promotions
  • Development and oversight of initiatives that give back to the community
  • Sourcing of campaign incentives
  • Prop preparation, permit applications and risk management
  • Liaison with stakeholders including social media promotional posts
  • Responsible for the management and development of the promotions team
  • Assisting with other internal events as required

Selection Criteria:

  • A genuine passion for the purpose and potential of the organisation
  • Demonstration of Hope’s values - Be Humble, Be Real, Be All In
  • Willingness to work outside of normal hours
  • Tertiary or diploma level Event Management qualification (desirable) or equivalent experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with not-for-profit, for-profit, and community organisations to deliver social impact
  • Experience developing and managing formal agreements, such as MOUs or contracts, that benefit all parties
  • Experience in managing partnerships, from planning to review
  • Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise according to deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience with CRMs, Wordpress, MS Office products, Adobe creative products, and basic audio and video editing skills
  • Current Working With Children Check
