About this Role

As Partnerships and Events Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating and managing Contra for events, products and services. In doing so, you will create value for PositiveMedia and our clients by providing marketing for the client and cost savings for PositiveMedia. You will also be responsible for planning and delivering PositiveMedia events in consultation with the relevant department.

This is a full-time role, however, part-time (0.8 FTE) may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver cost-savings by sourcing required products and services as Contra by renewing existing clients or sourcing new clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service for all Contra clients
  • Provide consistent service to internal departments for all areas of Contra
  • Ensure efficient management of Contra processes and documentation to facilitate department reporting
  • Manage events for PositiveMedia and consult with departments to establish event requirements throughout the year
  • Create event plans and secure necessary vendors, supplies, and collateral as required
  • Supervise the delivery of event plans to ensure successful events for all stakeholders

About You

We are seeking a strong relationship builder with exceptional commercial acumen. To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant qualification (degree or tertiary study preferred)
  • Experience in sales, marketing or event management
  • Experience securing contra for products/services is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with a wide range of people
  • A track record of using your negotiating skills to reach outcomes that benefit multiple parties
  • Strong administration skills
  • A proven passion to contribute to PositiveMedia’s mission and vision to see “Every life alight with the love of Jesus”
