Kindness and community spirit are showcased in this original new documentary series from GOOD TV.
A new doco-style TV series on GOOD is shining a light on some of Australia’s remarkable quiet achievers.
The series, ‘HumanKind', takes viewers across Australia to meet some wonderful, sleeves-rolled-up individuals, such as:
- Barb Blewett, a senior lady who works tirelessly to help Yazidi refugees feel welcomed and loved in Toowoomba;
- Chefs Nick and Sarah Hooper, who are using their culinary expertise to empower individuals with disabilities, building confidence and inclusion via the kitchen;
- Pilot Gareth Fletcher, whose work with Convoy of Hope is helping people affected by natural disaster;
- Kristine Vicca, from Strong Women Talking, who helps First Nations women to heal from trauma and become catalysts for positive change in their communities;
- Debbie Bazzo, who travels great distances in her work with Care Outreach to support people in isolated communities.
The show’s founder is Angela Williams, known for her ‘Gold Diggers’ podcast, and together with her co-host Dave they’re hoping to showcase the power of kindness to make a difference.
Season 1 is free to stream now on GOOD and is airs live on Fridays at 7:30pm.
