The series 'House of David', from Wonder Project studio, concludes on April 3 - but Season 2 is on the way.
Fans of faith-based film and TV will have plenty to enjoy over the Easter period, with the release of not only The Chosen Season 5, but also the finale of House of David, Season 1.
House of David, the inaugural production from Wonder Project studio, stepped onto the world stage when the first three episodes dropped on Prime Video in February, followed by a new episode each week. The program is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, as Amazon has recognised the huge and growing market for Biblical drama.
Faithful to the Biblical Narrative

The first season followed the well-known journey of David (Michael Iskander) from his shepherd beginnings, to his position as a court musician for King Saul, and his battle with Goliath. The finale episode is out today, April 3; but fans need not fear – there is a second season to come.
Season 2 will portray David’s ascent to the throne, along with all of the politics, family jealousy and romance that are a part of his beloved story.

House of David attracted 22 million viewers in its first 17 days, and received warm reviews, with The Gospel Coalition calling it “both narratively interesting and biblically faithful”, and commentator Greg Laurie sayingthat “millions of people through ‘House of David’ and ‘The Chosen’ are hearing Bible stories for the first time… If it inspires people who've never read the Bible before or have no relationship with God to want to know more, then this is something we should be celebrating.”
House of David can be streamed on Prime Video.
