Gather25 - Mobilising 2.5 Billion Christians for the Gospel

Using the latest in AI, Gather25 will bring together Christians from across the globe in an unprecentented worship and prayer event.

With a vision to mobilise the world’s 2.5 billion Christians for the gospel, an international alliance of ministry organisations has announced ‘Gather25’ - a historic, one-day global gathering, powered by AI, to be held in 2025.

Gather25 will be the first even of its kind in history. It invites every Christian on the planet, from every continent and every denomination, to come together on March 1st, 2025, for 25 hours of prayer, worship, repentance and gospel commissioning.

The event will be broadcast internationally via TV, radio and internet streaming, with live broadcasts from Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, North America and South America. Messages, music and prayer will all be translated live, using the latest in AI technology, into every major language - to enable the participation of people from across the globe.

It is being supported by numerous international ministries and organisations including BibleProject, IllumiNations, YouVersion, 24-7 Prayer International, Global 2033, along with many regional partners.

Christians can join from their homes, theatres, and local churches anywhere in the world, or at one of the live broadcast sites.

How Gather25 Was Birthed

Gather25 is the brainchild of American author, speaker and leader Jennie Allen, who already has experience leading global women’s events called IF:Gathering, reaching women from 179 different nations over the past 10 years.

In a Gather25 launch video, Jennie says the idea for the event was birthed from a dream she had in 2023. The dream left her thinking, “What if Jesus came back in 10 years… what would we do? In the gospel of Matthew, Jesus told us to be ready. What if it was sooner than we think? Are we ready? How would it change the way we are living today? Would we be so divided? Or would we work together?”

Jennie said she believes that there is great hope for a great awakening of the global church, because “revival is already happening”.

“It’s happening in college campuses, it’s happening in cities and in countrysides, in both stadiums and underground churches. And it’s happening everywhere.”

Jennie’s dream is to see technology harnessed in a way never seen before, to unite the global Church for one day.

“We’re the first generation in history that can bring together people from every corner of the worl in real time. Technology has opened a door that allows us to gather the church like never before. So for the sake of those 5.5 billion people who don’t know jesus it’s time to do something bold and unprecedented… We want to mobilize every Christian alive to share the gospel…and to commission them to become missionaries wherever they are to reach the ends of the earth.”

Stories of God’s Power

Dr. Charles Mugisha, co-founder of Africa New Life Ministries and lead pastor of New Life Bible Church Rwanda, says, “Gather25 is an opportunity for God’s people to become one, with Christ at the centre. For 25 hours we’ll be hearing stories of God’s power across the earth and worshipping with our great family of Jesus followers. There are billions of people and many people groups, who don’t know the love of God – my prayer is that Gather25 would ignite a new commissioning of the church under the power of the Holy Spirit so that every soul would be reached with the love of God.”

Gather25 is inviting Christians and churches everywhere to save the date, March 1st, 2025, and invite others to join as well. People can attend in their homes, in churches, or at one of the official gathering venues to be announced.
