CMAA is committed to seeing Christian music grow and thrive.
We work alongside artists, media organisations, promoters, venues and industry partners to create opportunities for Christian music to be heard, celebrated and experienced live.
This includes supporting concerts and touring opportunities, promoting Christian artists through our networks, helping connect artists with media and audiences, and contributing to industry events that strengthen the wider Christian music community.
A significant part of this work is helping demonstrate that there is an audience for Christian music in Australia. Through our Christian Concert Community, audience surveys, ticket sales and engagement, we can provide artists, promoters and venues with tangible evidence of demand for future tours and worship events. CMAA has already been involved in helping bring international Christian artists to Australia, while also advocating for more opportunities for home-grown artists.
We also champion artists through initiatives such as the People’s Choice Awards, giving audiences across Australia and New Zealand the opportunity to recognise the artists and songs connecting with them.
Alongside live events and touring, CMAA supports opportunities for the Christian music industry to connect, learn and collaborate, including industry gatherings and events focused on growing the genre and strengthening relationships across the sector.
Ultimately, every artist championed, event supported and ticket purchased helps strengthen the case for a vibrant and sustainable Christian music community in Australia and New Zealand.
