92.9 VoiceFM is a radio station licensed to serve the Christian community of interest, and is passionate about making a difference with an authentic message of life and faith. We're looking for someone who is able to demonstrate their ability to tell stories and connect with people.
About You
This is an important high-trust position as the front facing representative of our brand and mission. The successful candidate will be passionate about Jesus and His grace and be able to share the vision and mission of VoiceFM, personally aligning with its values and mission. They will need to be a mature trustworthy person as they will handle content decisions that could help execute our mission or cause brand damage with the wrong calls.
About the Role
This is a casual role (exact hours negotiable for the right person) working with a small team supporting a range of broadcast content and community connection strategies.
Responsibilities Include:
- Basic preparation, delivery, and audio editing of a daily solo breakfast radio show.
- Basic audio editing and production of show elements
- Community connection through events and communication off-air
- Basic database management of contacts and connections
- Engaging with and co-ordinating volunteers and staff
The Successful Candidate Must Have:
- Experience and basic skills in audio editing and production.
- The ability to adapt and belong in a media and content driven environment.
- Competency with office Tech and online systems and know how or learn to use: WordPress, Digital Community platforms, Adobe Audition, CANVA, CRM tools +
- Clear communication - both written and verbal.
- Organisation skills - self management skills
- Alignment with the VoiceFM brand.
- Warm relationship skills
- A well-articulated personal faith.

- A show reel/air-check to demonstrate your radio/story-telling skills
- A demonstration of skills you might have apart from hosting a radio show to bring to the organisation.

- Leadership and character reference from a Church leader (or something that will demonstrate your ability to bring authenticity to this role from a faith perspective)
- Evidence that you grasp who 92.9 VoiceFM is and how you will fit the team and direction.
- A small list of 5 of your favourite books/podcasts that you have learned something from that might help you in this role.
