ACCTV is searching for a highly qualified Marketing Coordinator to work as part of the Marketing Department, engaging viewers, donors, industry partners and supporters.

Job Overview

We are searching for a highly qualified Marketing Coordinator to work as part of the ACCTV Marketing Department which is responsible for engaging potential and existing viewers, donors, industry partners and other supporters of ACCTV.

From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with our exciting future goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing and fundraising functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. We are a vibrant and busy team of passionate people so the Marketing Coordinator must be an organised multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

We need your help to:

  • Establish ACCTV as a market leader in values-based content
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy
  • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve our immediate and long-term goals, identifying and executing improvements
  • Work with the design team to create rich content that increases the reach, traffic and engagement on ACCTV social media, web and on-demand platforms
  • Assist with the strategy, planning and development of content that connects with the intended audience and effectively achieves its objectives
  • Assist in managing our donor relations and fundraising initiatives
  • Regularly report on all active marketing and fundraising initiatives and campaigns including forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends

Specific Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the Marketing Manager
  • In partnership with the wider Marketing team, develop annual and quarterly marketing plans, budgets, and recommend tools and strategies in line with our vision
  • Research and write e-newsletters, blogs, social captions and copy as required to engage our audience on various platforms
  • Manage and create content for the website
  • Write campaign brief’s and work closely with the Production Department and Design Team to develop assets to support short, medium and long-term initiatives
  • Manage any advertising products, schedule availability and transact sales of external advertising campaigns in line with the ACCTV values guidelines
  • Develop promotional campaigns across digital, search, social and traditional media platforms that support current and future objectives
  • To develop ACCTV’s viewer community to ensure business and marketing goals are achieved
  • Develop and plan internal and external public relations, news and story development and distribution
  • Identify, analyse and report on data from various sources related to the performance of programs, campaigns, and activities
  • Advocate for marketing best-practises
  • Manage schedules and internal and external teams and resources to achieve required outcomes according to deadlines
  • To travel domestically as required

General Responsibilities

To fulfil other duties, as directed, within parameters as outlined in both the mission and vision statements.

  • Must be an excellent communicator in written and spoken English
  • To adhere to all regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines
  • To attend all required general staff and team meetings
  • To undertake professional development as required
  • To adhere to all occupational health and safety requirements
  • To keep confidential the affairs of ACCTV and its employees
  • To represent ACCTV in a positive manner
  • To maintain appropriate licences, as required

Essential Skills/ Experience/ Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • 3 years experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and social media strategy
  • Experience developing a customer database and managing a CRM
  • Familiar with current CMS platforms including WordPress
  • Working knowledge of basic HTML and email marketing tools
  • Have a good understanding of the Christian faith, sound biblical knowledge and a general sensitivity to working within a Christian-faith community.
  • Some past Christian ministry experience would be of benefit
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills with good command of the English language both spoken and written
  • A learning mindset
  • Ability to work from our office in Buderim, Queensland, Australia.
