The role involves:

The Marketing Assistant will play an important role in increasing awareness of 96five and its ministry partner group as we continue to expand and increase engagement with a growing supporter base throughout the community.

In this exciting role you will work across all communication platforms including website, social media, email, and CRM platforms, along with supporting the team on key marketing and fundraising campaigns and events. You will collaborate with experts within the not-for-profit environment, working with many departments, locally and in our partner regions, gaining a breadth of experience across marketing, fundraising, and graphic design. This is an opportunity to help deliver our strategic plan and champion key initiatives that promote all areas of the ministry.

You will have:

  • A genuine passion for the purpose of our Christian ministry and how it is expressed through our brand, identity and marketing content
  • Tertiary qualifications (or working towards) in Marketing or Communications (desirable)
  • Ideally you will have recent experience in a not-for-profit marketing, graphic design, communications or fundraising role
  • Strong understanding of digital communications and practical experience across social media platforms
  • Strong graphic design skills preferably with Adobe experience
  • Ability to work well both within a team environment and autonomously
  • Excellent written and graphical communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic and committed to the big picture
  • High level of creativity and imaginative thinking
  • Good time management and multi-tasking skills
  • High level of organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Committed to undertaking duties efficiently and delivering results to deadline
  • Current Blue Card

Working part time 25 hours per week, we are open to negotiation with flexibility on the structure of those hours. The role is based in Taringa; however hybrid arrangements will be considered for the right applicant.
