Content Producer – Short Form Video & Social Media

Location: Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast

Job: Flexible part-time (0.5–0.7 FTE)

Salary: $45,000 – $66,500 + super (pro-rata, based on experience)

Start Date: March 2026

HumanKind is a purpose-led organisation on a mission to restore faith in the kindness of humanity. Based on the Sunshine Coast, we create national campaigns, digital content, and activations that shine a spotlight on the good in people through real-world kindness initiatives.

The Role

As our Content Producer, you’ll be responsible for turning real stories into engaging, social-first content that people actually want to watch and share.

You’ll work closely with the HumanKind team, taking clear creative direction and executing it with craft, pace, andconsistency across platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

· Filming and editing short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)

· Filming and editing long-form video (YouTube)

· Managing and scheduling content across social platforms

· Maintaining a consistent and reliable publishing cadence

· Packaging content for social (formats, ratios, captions, thumbnails as needed)

· Executing approved storytelling and campaign direction

· Keeping content organised, on time, and on brand

You’re a creator at heart - someone who loves the craft of editing, understands what stops the scroll, and takes pride in delivering polished work day after day.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

· Have proven experience editing social-first video

· Have experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organisation

· Have a strong instinct for pacing, hooks, and storytelling

· Are organised, reliable, and deadline-driven

· Are confident using tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve (or similar)

· Care deeply about quality, consistency, and follow-through
