Families Week 2025: A Celebration of Stronger Australian Households

Focus on the Family Australia marked Families Week 2025 with a nationwide campaign that reached thousands of families through practical parenting support and inspiring Christian values. Running from 12 to 18 May, the initiative focused on strengthening families by sharing trusted resources through its video streaming platform, FamilyCast. In partnership with 23 Christian radio stations, the campaign equipped parents with tools to help their children thrive at every stage of life.

The impact of this collaborative effort was remarkable. Families across the country responded with enthusiasm, leading to a dramatic increase in engagement, signups and meaningful conversations about parenting, relationships and family life.

Thank you to all our radio partners, team members and families who made Families Week 2025 such a success. Your involvement has helped build stronger families and created lasting change across communities.

A Surge in Digital Engagement

The Families Week campaign drove hundreds of people to the FamilyCast website, with 1,461 people engaging with resources on the website throughout May.

Due to the on-air and online aspects of the campaign, website visitors accessed the site directly, through station website links, organic search, email campaigns and social media. It’s clear that many listeners take action and follow up to get resources after hearing about the campaign on-air or seeing it online.

Converting Interest into Action

Once subscribed, families continued to engage deeply. Every new subscriber went on to watch at least one parenting video and many spent significant time on the website. Families were not just browsing, they were investing time to learn and grow.

A Lasting Impact

The data from Families Week 2025 showed that families across Australia are hungry for support that is both practical and values-based. The campaign demonstrated how collaborative efforts, expert content and accessible platforms can make a lasting difference in the lives of parents and children.

With over 370 families signing up to receive more information, the message is clear: Focus on the Family Australia is meeting a real need. As FamilyCast continues to grow, so too does the opportunity to equip more households with tools for connection, growth and resilience.
