Bible League is looking for a Development Officer – Bequests to take on an active and challenging role while knowing that all that you do contributes to placing more Bibles into the hands of those who can’t afford them or access them.
Based at our office in Penrith NSW – with extensive local and national travel
In Development, Fundraising, Communications preferred (or minimum 3 years related/relevant experience)
We are a small, hard-working Team in a Christian Not-for-Profit. Our role is to raise funds in order to mobilise and equip the field workers in 50+ countries to place Bibles in the hands of people seeking truth and salvation. Development and Fundraising are key components in our organisation and work collaboratively with our Events and Marketing Teams to raise donation support from generous Christians, Churches and organisations. Securing gifts in wills is a crucial part of our Development plan into the future.
This is a busy, high-energy role across various aspects within the Development and Fundraising mix. You’ll coordinate all activity related to Bequestors. Plus, you’ll keep admin and CRM systems updated. Much of your time will be spent in face-to-
face meetings with existing and potential Bequestors.
Qualifications and Experience
Ideally you have a qualification in Development, Fundraising, Communications or similar field. Or, you have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Reporting and Interactions
You’ll report to the CEO and will work with a team passionate about making a difference for God’s Kingdom.
