Reports To: Content Director & General Manager
Contract: 8-month contract
Hours: 8-10 Hours a week across 1 or 2 days

About 92.9 Voice FM:

92.9 Voice FM is a Christian community radio station that exists to bring authentic and relevant hope to the people of Toowoomba and surrounding areas. Our mission is to inspire, uplift, and serve our community through Christ-centred content, positive stories, and local engagement. We are passionate about being a voice of encouragement and light in our region.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and community-minded individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator. This is a varied and hands-on role that supports the station’s growth and community presence through fundraising, social media, marketing, and local promotions.

This is an 8-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support fundraising efforts, including donor campaigns, sponsorships, and appeals
  • Help manage and grow our social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, Website etc.)
  • Assist in planning and delivering community promotions and station events
  • Assist with creating engaging content for online and on-air use
  • Build relationships with local community groups, churches, and businesses
  • Represent 92.9 Voice FM at events and public engagements
  • Contribute to marketing strategies that promote the station’s mission and values

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation
  • Background in marketing, promotions, or fundraising is preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative, proactive, and community-focused mindset
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Alignment with the mission and Christian values of 92.9 Voice FM
