Beginning in journalism, Alison Dean’s career has spanned media, integrated communications and advocacy. She has a record for driving organisations to develop a culture of agility, efficiency and courage, and does so with strong values, accountability and robust corporate governance models. As Public Engagement Director, Alison leads a team at CBM Australia to advance the rights of people with a disability through storytelling, news gathering, fundraising, advocacy and policy. She is passionate about enabling lasting change for marginalised groups by sharing their stories with authenticity and integrity. Alison has seen firsthand the impact that is possible when Christian media and charity organisations work in partnership, bringing together their unique skills to create real change.
