Part time role (4 hours a day, 5 days a week)

Bible League is looking for an Accounts Officer to take on an active and challenging role while knowing that all that you do contributes to placing more Bibles into the hands of those who can’t afford them or access them.

We are a small, hard-working Team in a Christian Not-for-Profit. Our role is to raise funds in order to mobilise and equip the field workers in 70+ countries to place Bibles in the hands of people seeking truth and salvation.

Responsibilities

The Accounts Officer is responsible for effectively and efficiently coordinating the accounts function and assisting the Accountant where required. Functions include, but are not limited to: Accounts Receivable and Payable, Bank Reconciliations, Debtor Invoices and Debt Collection.

Qualifications and Experience

Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or equivalent experience. Proficient in MYOB and possess sound level computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Reporting and Interactions

You’ll report directly to the Accountant and will work with a team passionate about making a difference for God’s Kingdom.
