A generous donor has given ADM an additional $10,000 in funding, for Christian women with book projects, at their 2021 Annual Funding Event.
Anglican Deaconess Ministries is growing gospel-shaped women to serve Christ in the church, the community, and the world. Each year their Funding Event provides Christian women with the funding, feedback, and networks they need to develop a budding idea.
The event welcomes ideas for church-based ministries, gospel-shaped initiatives in the community and projects that seek to engage our world with Jesus. And in 2021, thanks to a generous donor, an additional $10,000 has been earmarked specifically for book projects.
CEO Rev Jo Gibbs said: “At ADM, we’re growing gospel-shaped women to serve Christ in the church, the community and the world. We’re delighted that there are generous donors out there who share this vision of encouraging and equipping Christian women – in this case, wanting to support Christian women to complete book projects.”
“We’d love to see our funding programs continue to grow in this way, so more Christian women have opportunities to share their gifts.” ADM CEO Rev Jo Gibbs added. “We’re seeking donors who similarly have a passion to support Christian women in projects with gospel impact.”
ADM has three annual funding schemes for Christian women. In addition to the Annual Funding Event, ADM runs the Women in Ministry Support Scheme (WIMSS) and the ADM Fellowships Program. Women who apply for funding must have a personal commitment to ADM’s theological principles, vision and mission.
